Bump for edits and new asking price.
Well gents it's been a fun ride but I'm tired of watching my R/T collect dust. She needs to go to a good home where the tires will be properly roasted and she can get the TLC she so desperately...
The 555s are looking better and better.
I ran 255/50 KDWS about 8 years ago. I went back up to factory diameter when the 4.56s went in. I may have to revisit the 50.
Hey all,
It's that time again, time for new tires. Due to tie rod ends being toast, I ended up needing new front tires to pass inspection. No problem, I think. I have Federal 255/55's on all four...
If he went to a 26" slick could that be forcing him to shift into OD before hitting the traps? That'll cost a couple tenths right there.
Just a thought.
You guys may be on to something. :jester:
Hadn't done this since the new motor went together. I set the IAC counts over the weekend and it stopped for a couple of days after I reset the counts. I was all set to post "RICH COMES THROUGH...
Just fixed them

Custom Grind Comp cam: 220/230 dur .544/.544 lift at 110 lsa
clevite bearings, ARP hardware, ARP head studs...
It put down 309hp and 344lb/ft. Last run before the newest tune it did 294hp. Now I just need to address this stock heads issue. :)
Visited a Dyno Day down in Va Beach. Saw some improvement with a new tune. :)

Anyone have a part number for the Remflex gaskets?
Time to beat this dead horse again. :)
What are people doing to get these things to seal up at the head? I know a lot of guys are running the one piece port plate. What about gaskets? I followed...
If you want to keep it relatively close to stock diamter, Nitto makes a 275/50 that is a pretty good tire. They used to be pretty inexpensive, but the price went up recently. I'm running the Federals...
I tossed my factory shroud. Got a windshield washer reservoir from a boneyard out of a 99 Dak. Bought a universal coolant overflow canister from carquest. Came with brackets and everything. It's...
What he said. I pulled my heads last year. It wasn't that bad. What I found under the heads was, though.
I like tapatalk because it will notify you when someone replies to a thread you've posted in or you get a PM. Since I don't have my emails routing to my phone, this is handy. Tapatalk also works with...
For a while, Chrysler was helping some customers foot the bill for paint jobs paying for as much as half the total cost. Customers had to call Chrysler and put in a request and they would hear back...
Not sure how it is where you are, but in Va you can take it somewhere else even after it's rejected. If it passes at another shop, all is well.
