As a FYI, if this is a 98 DA CC with the aforementioned mods, that's Buzz's old truck, and has a set of Danno lifters in it.
Or it used too.

Time to make the wifes ride in the bed or stay home guys.....
:drums1:
Good call. A couple of quick phone calls to the "known" Maggy head guys might get you somewhere with those numbers possibly.
Most likely not. #1 for privacy reasons, but #2 they probably don't serialize the parts individually to be kept track of that way.
PO would be the only way I know. Was the PO a Dakota guy? If so maybe one of us knows the PO and where the work was done etc....
Maybe they were a set that someone bought from Edelbrock "raw" and did all the work on and got the spacing wrong when they did the holes....
Knowing the history of the heads would help a lot with...
I would use a diamond file and VERY carefully deburr any of that stuff that is raised. Other than that, put it back together with the recommended fluid and run the fucker.
If you...
98 and 99 utilize the same exhaust.
But before you do that, I would run the current exhaust all the way out the back. Having it dumped under the truck will always make it louder and boomier. The...
Ut oh, old ones were bad too?
And FWIW, I have a copy of a set of participation guidelines that were unofficial that Mike Williams and Jim Burr and Lori Lang put together back in 00 or so that we used to hold all reps accountable...
Cut and paste. No reason that the general membership should not know this is there. And we WILL be holding people accountable. This is not just a sit on your ass and get the participation award...
Josh, see if you can find a pic of Michael Thomas's truck. He has a blue CC that has a cowl that was painted in a very clean manner.
The only issue I see with you modeling after what other people...
That truck is now owned by Ryan Hendrick/Henrick? something like that. He posts in the FB group all the time. Hes got a DA RC that he has been trying to sell as well...
If it happens more than a couple of times per individual, I am sure that that procedure will take place.
This is with Eddie heads for those that don't know Joe's combo....
We never did get any actual hard numbers on them. I would say under 20 RC's for sure, and possibly under 10.
Congrats, and hang on to this one, that's a rare bird you have there.
You just like sticking your finger in the port and smearing that RTV around don't you..... :jester:
Still waiting on price for what I asked for? :idunno: lol
First off, good luck with the search, 98 and 99 PCM's are fairly interchangeable FWIW.
Secondly, can you offer more info on the truck itself? I like to keep track of the 98 RC's, especially the...
Bingo,
I have had multiple sets on 4 different trucks and never had one issue with a plate or sealing. And like Don, I can say that I have had them on and off more times than I care to count......
But if you go too long then they will bottom out against the head and you will never get the header tight and you could warp both the header and the port plate ;)
Bolt length on these has to be...
There is a possibility that the club may have to migrate to a .net or .org address at some point in the near future, so we are keeping our options open on that and not putting the addy on the logo at...
Good call.
Upon a quick scan, in order, Brian ( not on his original truck, but still has one ) Me, Todd, Hooper, and Damon B.
Great job Todd!
Hearing about Jack was like a blow to the gut to me too. I always liked Jack, and he was someone that everyone almost immediately liked. He was just THAT guy. The cool, laid back...
