Love it! Keep it coming!
Chris, can you comment on the serpentine belt system? Slippage? What boost level have you tested it to?
Thanks,
Tom
Any updates here?
I've done both. I much prefer radial front runners. The mix you are suggesting tracks a little funny in city driving and corners worse. Racing was a non issue. I also got much better front runner...
Glad to see it coming along, Chris. It's nice to see someone who actually cares about the quality of their product. IMO, no one's ever made a decent kit for these platforms. Good blowers-yes, but the...
That is just awesome. Glad to see all your hard work and $$ is paying off. That 1.33 had to feel nice.:rockwoot:
Strong work, Chris! How'd the belt hold up/slippage,etc?
Tom
So you did "see" 11lbs of boost, correct? Any noticeable belt slippage? That's some encouraging news, if true.
I can't wait for the finished product, Chris. I'd love to run a draw through whipple with your set up. I don't care for the complexity and looks of the turbo/carb deal. It's either your kit or I'm...
Timeslip yes, vids as soon as I can get them from a buddy.
Love the build! Keep us posted.
Mine is held in the back with two long 1/2 inch bolts and a metal bar across on the top. I've had it checked out by tech on numerous occasions with no issues.

Well I'm going to be adding a power adder over the winter. In the past, I've run N2O combo and a vortech set up. I was leaning towards finding an old novi 2000 setup as I run an electric water pump...
I love it. I am carbed though. All my buddies run it. We all have said will never go back. It will give you 2-4 percent more power. It will run about 20 degrees cooler. It doesn't foul out plugs. I...
Awesome job. I guess I have .01 seconds of breathing room, lol. Get that thing figured it out and low 10s should happen.
About 3450lbs with me in it. It dynoed 581HP on E85. It's a eddy headed 410 11.8 comp. It is the factory hyd roller set up with a few band aides.
That's funny. I bet the ta with 440 LSx motor that I walked with my na 408 last week at the track would probably disagree with you. Or do you think I should tell him that the hot ticket is not his...
How do you like the polycarb? What did the back window end up costing you? Any pics, Duner?
Thanks,
Tom
Thanks guys. I'd love to sit here and say what a flawless pass I made, but the fact, is I about crapped my pants when I hung the hoops the first time. It was just surreal. It feels like your floating...
Sorry.

I finally got a chance to let the new motor rip. I got a new best 60ft 1.43 as well. I got some decent wheels up launching. I've never run Hoosier drag radials, they gave me zero wheel spin. I kept...
Dave,
Did you explore any other back window options? Is that lexan? I'd like to keep my slider and go through the lower part of the side windows. Aren't some guys using polycarb?
Tom
Excellent, I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. I only want to run 5-8lbs anyway. I don't think my block could take much more.
