Sorry man. Job opportunites don't grow on trees, and I had to shake this tree pretty hard to get this one, so I'm taking it.

Well, life happens.
Likely 99.99% sure I won't be at Carlisle anymore.
Heading to the West.
I think they mentioned the brake booster issue on 97-98 trucks, a post 99 brake booster clears just fine. The hemi has been fit in several 4wd trucks, and it works fine.
Any chance you'd sell 2 of them? I'm looking for a pair of chrome R/T's to mount drag radials on in the future...
I looked but couldn't find the picture, I'll keep looking but if you can, could you put a picture?
*edit*Finally found it.
Doesn't look like the V6 spring drops the front of the truck too much....
Does anyone have a picture of the truck with a V6 spring up front and stock R/T leafs on the rear?
If that's the case, it can't be done on a Dakota as you have to use the Rams accessories.
No. :jester: Lend me a shop to do it in?
But I don't want the lope right away. I wanna get it running and driving before I crack into it.
Once I crack it open, I might go nuts and get Eagle heads a ported 6.1 intake, and a rowdy cam. But...
Yeah, they're all over various forums for $50/cam.
Buy the stock 6.1 springs and pushrods and you're set.
Yeah, good on him for keeping it around.
Are you the one that posted the Youtube video of the 6spd R/T? I think I said "Do Want."
Truck didn't get to go through the emissions test, OBD2 said...
You can find a better cam than the 6.1 cam for $50? Tell me where/what I should be looking for.
So, I got out of the R/T scene a few years ago, around 2009. Started growing up (or so I thought), bought a house, bought a Jeep, traded vehicles with my Dad because he didn't want the R/T to leave...
I drove it...for the first time in about two years.
Meh, all this points to me sticking with the 545RFE.
I think the diesel 68RFE parts will fit the 545RFE.
I was thinking 2500 RAM probably came Hemi+stick.
Personally i'd like to have the 5spd auto (545RFE), but if I end up having to stay with the 46, how hard would it be to convert it to RH?
Could you make a 46RE/would a 46RE play nice with a hemi?
If I wouldn't have to change to the 545RFE i'd be able to invest money in things like the HiPo-Tek tubular crossmember.
But then again,...
I've had my R/T on the market for a couple years and havent gotten many bites.
Why would I buy someone elses junk and problems? I know what's been done to my truck, and what wiring has been...
You have to go with the 545RFE when doing a Hemi swap.
Use an 05 Ram ECU and you don't have to worry about the TCM.
Hemi + 545RFE.
4.7 + 45RFE (later 545RFE).
Mounting a 545RFE in a...
Oh, I'm on the other end of the state :jester:
I was thinking of them as "track" wheels.
Lucky me with an 03. Rear discs. 5 lug conversions are apparently real tough to do. No one makes a decent 6 lug street wheel. I mean I guess I could call...
I've seen some guys mention doing a 5 lug conversion on the front.
Searched (using the search function) and had no luck.
So I come to ask, those that have done the 5 lug conversion, what did...

Where in Maryland?
I'd love to have them for my silver R/T. Let me know your price, maybe we could work something out if you decide to sell.
What's up twinzie?
I've got an 03 RC R/T...we look a lot alike.
