My money is sent. I've been wondering what to do about this thing anyway.
Never put a wideband on it, but had a sniffer shoved up the pipe during a dyno run and it still went off the scale rich at WOT, even after the cats.
Lifters won't be the only thing collapsed if you're spinning to 7500 on hydraulics! :teh finger:
I'm certainly no pro engine builder, but if you're checking roller tip sweep with collapsed lifters then you aren't getting full lift and thus not the full sweep. It might not be enough to make a...
How did you check the sweep pattern of your rocker arms to the valve stem? Even with a lightweight checking spring the lifter will collapse a bit and skew your reading.
Unless you're using solids...
I have one made up if you still need it.
My current build is using the stock crank and block with Eagle SiR rods and KB107s. The pistons all slightly protrude out of the deck, which affected my choice of head gasket. The .039" Fel-Pros...
Bumping this old ass thread to see if there's any info about upgrading an 01+ truck. Everything I'm able to find references pre-01's and I have an 03.
It appears that the fuel pumps are different...
Got pics?
I'm still around, but the R/T hasn't run in about 5 years. Hoping that changes this winter...
If it's stock, just pick up a standard oil pump (I'm putting a Melling standard volume/pressure pump on my engine build - not a firebreather, but healthier than stock).
If you take care of them...
I've heard from multiple sources that the rear main likes to leak, even after it's been replaced. That doesn't mean it's supposed to, but it sounds like a fairly common issue. My Durango had a leak...
This.
My Durango had this issue. I bypassed the heater core every summer and it made a huge difference. It didn't help that I couldn't switch it to recirc so it was always pulling in outside air...
You're probably already done with everything and have the truck back, but what the hell:
That timing chain probably should have been replaced 90,000mi ago anyway.
Might as well replace the oil...
Hemifever seems to be pretty popular with the Hemi guys. I've heard of HemiTuner, but not sure how well known (or used) he is.
Ryan (FRP) has been working with me on a canned tune for my 14 Hemi...
I can't post this in his subforum so here it is.
For those of you who still have a Hemifever tune, he just posted this on his Facebook page earlier today.

Hmm..
He's looking for an engine builder, and I don't see any mention of porting.
But you recommend avoiding a semi-well known engine shop completely because of a single experience with some...
I hope this happens soon. I don't dislike Paypal, but I sure was irritated trying to link a Wells Fargo card to my account last night for a tune on my Ram...

Want it back? :)
