I cut my hood about the same as you have marked. I made a radius type cut at the back edge for my round air filter. I'll try to take a picture of it later for you. I haven't had any issues with flex.
Ram's use a clamp around the TB, right? That would be one way. I replaced one of the a/c bracket bolts with a stud to help secure my big fresh air fiberglass housing that fits up tight to the hood. I...
Sounds interesting. My thought process went to making it a slide-in assembly. Kind of like you slide a furnace filter into place.
I say NO. We are an R/T specific site (as lame as it is now). This site is about the 1998-2003 Dakota R/T and what we do to personalize them. Yes, I am an OG. I've owned and thrashed on my R/T since...
Don't use hemifever... been there done that years ago. Go with FRP. He is very busy, but the best at sct tunes.
Don't know about Mike. Haven't seen him on here.
When I saw, "out with the old", I thought there goes the R/T! Glad you're still keeping her! I need some incentive to get down there and race! When would be a good time to meet you at the track,...

Lookin' good, Richard! :r/t smile:

You got me... sounds kinda like a tire rub.
Dunno why, but I haven't had any problem with that connection. Still using the original tube AND O-ring! I have a rear main seal leak from over pressurizing internally. Lost a valve cover cap and...
New cap & rotor make a difference also. It should have a full tune up before drag racing...
Yes, sag can be adjusted. IIRC I had my lower valance off so I could reach up in there. I had my bumper off for paint job. So get the bolts loosened up, then you can move/adjust the bumper.
Or, NGK bkr6E, bkr7E
That's what I love about these fuel injected engines. :rockwoot:
So, what were the times? 1/4 mile, top speed?
Looking good! Stay with it. You'll have it back to nice in no time...
Hey, glad you found your old truck! Not sure, but I probably have your original trans in my r/t. Dan Bennett hooked me up with Don thinking it was a good trans. (wasn't). Now that I wrote that...I'll...
I'm just seeing this post. Dan Bennett (Danno) was a leader in trying new to 1998-2004 ways to make more HP in these trucks. His 98 Club cab STOCK bottom end, massively ported 2.02 heads, big cam and...
"Had this setup when I bought the truck from Alan. He had tried to it use both cables and keep the PRD21 working on the dash. Think it had some binding issues".
When I installed my Ford Taurus SHO...
Are you talking about the O2 sensor for the AEM gauge or factory O2 sensors in exhaust? NTK or Mopar sensors work best in exhaust. :) :r/t smile:
