I would give it to you before I took it to the dump!
That would be awesome!
Who could toon it?
Hey Richard, I believe it is like a custom John Mercedes pan. And I'm not sure of how many quarts yet. Might be able to find info in some of Dave Downings old threads.
Upon reflection wasn't sure if this was regional or not, but it seems it is more than just local to here. (and it was a good joke, dammit! :p )

Nice! When's it going in?
Share the specs on that bad boy!
I should be back up and running in May
Gonna be a 440ci w-5 headed motor 12:1 compression. Solid roller setup
You going bigger now?
Yes, 440
EFI or going carbed?
Was it really quicker? .06 on motor? And I hope it was quicker when it was built details like this. Not to mention the fabulous headers I didn't want him to build that ended up costing me out the ass. So I sure hope it was quicker.

Okay, that’s what I thought it might be. I’ve just never seen it from an end view. Not sure why he brought the sides of the sump up so high (toward the bolt flange) or why one side is higher than the other.Quote:

I’m working on a prototype deep sump pan using the stock pan as the core. What I like about the stock pan is that it utilizes the OEM dipstick tube. I’m currently running the Schumacher pan and I’m sick of burning my fingers trying to grab the dipstick from between the headers.
