I think I was born over 20 year too late. I could have been an innovator in that fledgling performance era.

I don't think there will be anymore of these drag car guys/engine builders like we look back on now, coming ahead in the future. Different times, different country, different world. Kinda sad.

Only nascar really, I guess. I watched a nascar race in person a year or so ago in Dallas. It was cool at first, but I can live without it.

Agreed, I wish I could have lived through those years also. Back when set up tricks were still being invented and banned once found, now most of the cars are the same and its basically left to a computer. JMO
