I just bought a new zex nitrous kit off of craigslist. The part number is zex82357. They guy I bought it off of lied to me of course. He told me it was a wet kit, and had different sized jets. The kit turns out to be a zex safe shot which is 15 to 35hp. Now zex makes an upgrade kit for 55hp to 175hp. I was wanting to go with a wet 100hp shot. Only thing is the other kit is $299 and I don't think it has what I need in it. Part number zex 82358. I am pretty sure that is for a EFI I just don't see the throttle switch. I am not sure, but I was think I could just buy a fuel solenoid, more lines, jets, and a throttle switch. I just wanted to know if this was plauseable or should I just sell the kit and get a universal wet kit.

I'm not sure what you paid off of craigslist, but, I'd send a PM over to wicked nitrous. I've been talking to Kyle over there, and will be ordering a kit very soon. He seems to have fair prices for R/T members and you'd save a lot in plumbing.

I'd sell the Zex kit to some kid with a Honda.

I believe the applicable quote here is; "Look before you leap!"

Sell the kit and only buy a brand new one. I prefer Nitrous Express. I do run it with a Zex Perimeter Plate though.

Yea I am with you there. This kit is new and I only bought it for $175.
By the time I buy all of the other stuff I will end up spending right around another $175. Oh well I guess you learn something new everyday.

You may have to spend even a little more than that, but I would just save up and get a good quality kit like the NX. You can add a few extras to it later, but I would consider a bottle heater and a gauge first. If you're not running near 1,100 psi, you're wasting nitrous ($!).

Agreed! The quality of the Cold Fusion kits are identical. I only say this because I was an NX dealer... I just can't move 5k a month to keep up with the quota anymore. Anyway drop us a PM or phone call and we will get you setup right.
