Pretty neat local car show that happens pretty much every Friday at the Local Lowes. I got there at about 6 and there was already about 400 cars. Everyone starts to show up about 4 and take off about 8 when it gets dark. Here are a few pictures, I forgot to pull the camera out sooner. I waxed the truck for the first time in about a year and a half, after sitting at the shop and doing a bunch of work. Paint still looks excellent. I did the meguiers 3 step process, I really hate the polish, its a MFer to get off without a good buffer.

Looks awesome! 400 CARS WTF! Haha, we have a Saturday cruise-in that started about 3 years ago at a local ice cream place. Me and about 4 or 5 buddies have been going up there since day 1, it's a lot of older hot rods and muscle cars and some newer cars as well. It started off with maybe 20 cars total but now 3 years later we probably get about 100 cars to show up on Saturday. Throughout the year there are giveaways, buy one get one free ice cream, professional pictures and posters/plaques/etc. made for those that want to purchase them, and other stuff to keep people coming back. At the end of the year there are trophies given out for different classes, too. Anyway, looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for sharing.

Yea that's sweet, we have meets like that all the time here on L.I. There's like a different one everyday somewhere on the island. I kinda got sick of them now thouh since my truck is pretty heavy in progress outside.

Meets are a ton of fun though when you have knowldgeable people there. When the hondas show up is when the cops come (for the wrong reason)

Yeah. It's not worth a 2 hour drive, but I live 5 minutes away so...it's convenient. It's really only cars within about 10-15 minutes. Imagine having a Little Creek meet at Walmart or something...that's pretty much how it is. Except I'm not so sure there's anywhere near 100 car enthusiasts in this area hahaha, too many crown vics on 24's.

LOL, I've seen 'em at the parking lot to the side of kmart, right off little creek and old ocean view. Yeah, different crowd then I'd hang out w/ though.

Ditto on the Nova. If I could find a nice '66 Nova, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. There's a guy here locally that runs a '66 on the street with a 502 big block , tubbed, black, --- pretty smooth!
