I don't want to get a 2/4 kit because I am not looking to go that low. I just wast something conservative to take away some fender gap. We have a lot of shitty inclined driveway and parking lot entrances too.
What would I need to get so I can get the 1/2 drop I am looking for?

If that's all you want, I'd cut about 1/2 a coil off the factory front springs and use a block for the rear. Need longer u-bolts too. Then spend a little extra on the Bilstien shocks.

1/2 coil will give you 1"-1.25" drop with a pretty good ride and enough wheel travel for most potholes/speedbumps, if you go with 3/4 coil you'll get a 1.5"-1.75" drop and be sitting right on the bumpstops.
For the rear you can go with 2"-2.5" blocks without a problem, 3" blocks will put you up against the bumpstops. And it puts a pretty extreme angle on the swaybar end links.
I learned this the hard way, and I'm picking up a set of spindles, along with milling the blocks so I can go back up to 1.5"/2".
The fender gap is PERFECT at my current height, but I ran out of travel.

i was able to reuse the stock u-bolts with 2" blocks when i had them on mine.

I bought a set of used beltech springs and a 2in block in the rear and pair those up with a good set of shocks and it will ride pretty good.

Has anyone had any experience with Suspension Max? I am thinking of getting the 2/3 kit.

Just remember, whatever drop they show, deduct 1". For instance, If they show springs that give a 2" drop, they will only give a 1" drop on an R/T. R/Ts are 1" lower than other Dakotas from the factory. Same rule applies on the rear springs.

Yeah I remember someone telling me that. Should I just get the 3/4 then? I just don't want it to be TOO low and hit the bumpstops and have to worry about driving into parking lots and catching my bumper.

Even with just a 2/3 drop you'll hit the bumpstops. Even with shorter bumpstops, they'll hit on a regular basis. Mine is only about a 1.5 / 2 with 1/2" tall bumpstops and I still bottom-out on a regular basis. The other problem if you go more than a 2" drop in the front, you will hit the fender flares and eventually run the chance of destroying them.

Looks like I am sticking with the 2/3. Low enough to fill up some gap but high enough where I don't run into too many issues.

ive used suspension max on my qc. i put 1 inch coils on it and had hotchkis leafs in the back. the ride was alittle harsh, but i had stock shocks. i never bottomed out or touched the fenders. my tires were 275/45/20. the fender gap is perfect.

Tom, what have you done drop / suspension wise? I like the stance of your truck.

I hope you're asking me. Mine is a real cheap lowering job! 2" steel blocks in the rear, 1.5" cut stock coils in front. Front and back uses short Energy Suspension bump stops. Also has Bilstien shocks all around. The ride & handling is surprisingly great!

Yup, I was asking you. I like to hear the words cheap, thanks for the info.
