Hesitates going into second

Why does my truck, under full throttle, hesitate & buck in first? I have to back off the throttle & let it shift into second before I can floor it again. Thanks. Ray

I've been into a couple of different trannies (th350, th400, tf727, Allison global, Allison 1000, Eaton roadranger 9,10,13,15,and18 speed) but I dont work in a tranny shop. Mainly I just understand how they work in general. Knowing how something works makes it much easier to troubleshoot.
