just looking for ideas to pop the wideband cable (LM-2) into the cab... i was thinking under the seat.... not sure if it's long enough to come thru that hole next to the steering shaft.

what'd you guys do?

i drilled a hole in the floor near the passenger seat and ran the wire under the carpet to the the dash and then over to the gauge. the wire was not long enough to go through next to the steering shaft. im not sure how long the LM2 wire is but this was the way i did it with my dynojet wideband.

I used where my hill-bake/emergency-brake came into the cab. on the pass side I just made a hole.

May not be the same...not sure. Anyway, under the carpet and behind my center console, there is a drain plug in the floor. I got it out...drilled a hole in the plug...bent the tab created by making a slit from the outside to the hole I drilled enough to slip the wideband cable to the hole, Bent tab back down, and used jb weld epoxy to seal it all back up.

I didn't want anything permanent done. To put it back stock, all I would need is a plug.

I'm running my o2 sensor on passenger side, so I went behind wheel well, to firewall and through a gromet on passenger side. Worked out quit well.

fuck it- i went straight thru the floor under the passenger seat.... im never sellin this thing & my hole will never ever be noticed if i did. in 75 years, if it's not a lawn ornament I'll drop trash through the rust hole in the floorboard.

fucked around a little bit with the lm-2... a little bit of a learning curve with that thing it looks like. it also looks like it's tons easier to configure if you take a laptop out to the garage. guess i'll have to get me a netbook or something.

A netbook with Windows XP (so it's compatible with SCT PRP) is sooo much better than the hog of 17" laptop I had in the beginning. I don't even think a 14-15" laptop would fit in your lap behind the steering wheel in a RC like this Asus eee netbook I have now. If you can get a 6 cell battery...life is much better, especially at the track. I have two netbooks, one 3 cell battery version, and my older 6 cell version (had to replace this one, ended up being warrantied though). For tuning, working in the garage with it, LM2 also, ....6 cell is nice.

I noticed I have a hole already in the firewall on the passenger side just above the bell housing. That's what I plan on using.
