I know the difference between them just want to know what you guys would suggest? Should i go 75-100 wet? or dry? what are you guys running? I'm tight on money and wanting to spray it because it's easy hp and it seems easier to go this route instead of heads/cam/tuner....

What he said!!!
Unless you got full control of your fuel deilivery I would never run N2O dry!!
And as for Cheap easy horse power?!?!
Only in the beginning?!?!
By the time you add up the broken parts and time and headaches a Boosted system is just as cheap.
Your going pay to play one way or the other. Be it now or later?!?!?

We can see who doesnt like nitrous!:jester: I definitely agree with you. Its all in the way you set it up, frequency in running it, and size shot. It is easy to get addicted and greedy-trust me, i know. lol

LOL!!
I had my interests at one time BUT after watching an Intreview of "Pat Mussi" "The Nitrous GodFather". I knew then which side of the fence I wanted to be on.
Hers a few quotes I remember from his Interview:
We go through at least 5 engines per season where the Turbo guys might use 2-3 on a bad season. They usually get away with 1.
I run Nitrous because it is what I know, I'm too old to start over and learn Turbos. BUT if I were to start over from the beginning I would definately use Turbos. They just make so much power and don't tear up parts as much.
There was alot more to it than that BUt that was the 2 comments that stuck with me.
Also the block that I have has 3 sleeves in it cause the guy decided to bump up from 225hp to 250hp after it ran SO GOOD on 225hp.

You guys and your nitrous horror stories. There's not a damn thing wrong with it, used correctly. Musi uses GOBS of it and knows his motor won't last. That's what he has to do to stay competetive in his class.
The general rule of thumb for a street system is; don't use more that 1/2 of your total n/a HP in nitrous. For example, a 250 hp motor should limit to 125 hp in nitrous.

hummmmm...those words sound familiar...o yea, you told them to me a month ago.
SEE MY SIG-im running a wet 75 shot at the moment. Waiting on the longtubes, then i may bump up to a 100 shot. I appreciate those education lessons.

The most important part of the equation is; to keep your tune fresh and always look at your plugs after you change your pills. If they're really white and have any kind of sparkle to them, you're too lean. If they're approaching black, you're too rich.
They should have a light brown/tan hue to them and the electrode should be 100% complete. If any of it's missing, or burnt, that's really bad juju.

sorry for dredging this up but its relevant.
can you compensate for additional nitrous with added fuel from the system like you can compensate for boost on turbo setups?
I want to run a 150 shot but would switch my injectors out for 30# and get a wideband and sct/hemifever tune.
My heads are mild port, bottom end is stock, M1 4bbl adapted to 2, 52 mm throttle body, cam, 1.7 roller rockers, and the exhaust is mopar headers to a freeflow y pipe to a glasspack. no cat.

A "wet" kit actually has it's own fuel side. The pill chart includes the right sized jet for both nitrous and fuel, to achieve a safe combination.
I wouldn't run a "dry" kit on a Dodge. Ford maybe, but not on our trucks.

I knew that much but didnt know if there any benefits to injecting more fuel.
anyone run more than a 150 shot on stock internals or is that just too much for a cast setup.

The rule of thumb for nitrous is; run no more than 50% of your n/a hp in nitrous. For example: a 250 hp motor should limit to a 125hp nitrous shot.
As far as "I know that" on the fuel question, obviously you don't.
Your n/a tune would be regulated by the injectors and tune.
The nitrous would be regulated by the size jets in the nozzle, or plate.
The two have nothing to do with each other.
