Mopar day at St.Thomas

Hey, just wondering if anyone was making some plans to go to mopar day at St.Thomas. I was just at the dealer and seen one of the handouts there. Its june 12th, far away but just trying to see who might be making it out. Maybe some of the guy from the area could get together there or do what ever. Here is a link to the site

I rely on guys from Redline to tow me as i do not have a truck/trailer set-up. So I basically go whenever/whereever they take me. They simply will not run at St.Thomas. If i could tow myself that would be great but the Jeep Liberty simply cant tow that kind of weight.

That sucks! Oh well, i guess you got to stop spending money on your truck and start spending some on truck / trailer then! Its alright tho, from what i hear they don't prep the track well for your kind of times

Trust me I would love to trade in the Jeep for a truck but owe more on the damn thing then i could sell it for.

LOL...at first glance at the title I thought you meant St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. I have a sister that lives there and I have visited her recently...no room or terrain for a track that's for damn sure. Max speed limit on the island I think is 35mph on the best stretch and shocks are a maintenance item when you change your oil.

I am not sure who is running it. But there must be someone running it because there are a few events already booked and on their site

The schedule on their website is for 2009 still. They have yet to even put a 2010 schedule in place.

I have heard this before some place too. Not sure whats really going on.

True they don't have anything up for this years, but there are other sites that have booked things with the track, so i assume it must be running this summer. But never really know

oh i'm sure it will be running as well but until they get a schedule up its all up in the air. Anyways couldn't care less won't be there anyways.

Its never good to see a strip shut down in the area tho, even if you wont go there

There is actually one in the works to be built right off the QEW in Stevensville (right outside Niagara Falls)

I don't think anyone will care but me cause it's still a long drive from anywhere past hamilton

Well i found out today that the guy that owns the land that the track is on is letting / giving it to one of his family members and they are going to run it for this year and see how it goes i guess. So that could mean some good things or some very bad one too. And i guess it opened a few weeks ago, I am thinking about taking the truck next weekend if its nice out
