I am currently in the process of making some tubular upper control arms. I have had some peaked interest from a few people I have talked to.
They are made out of a very high grade steel, drilled for ball joints, and have grease fitting for the control arm bushings. The kit will include the tubular control arms which will be adjustable to fit your truck, bushings, and will come powder coated black, but i can do a custom color for $90 more (Ill have to double check the price it may be less).
Price is $365 plus shipping for the entire kit. Which really in my mind is a steal, since this is one of the only sets of upper control arms made for our trucks. The only other company is airride technologies.
Paypal: quick00rt59@aol.com (please PM me or email me first, so I can get you a firm shipping quote or add to the price if you want a custom color.)

The support for where the bushings go is there your control arms mount to the frame now. You have to remove that shaft that holds the control arms to the frame. Its a very high grade metal and the welds are excellent. They install easy too if you can get your stock arms apart without having to cut the bushings out.

Yes, I have over 3k miles on them on some of the worst roads ever haha. I also have a bunch of other people running these with tons of road tested mileage and no issues. The only pics I have close up of the arms on my truck are from mock up. Sorry for the dirty truck pics, I had the motor out all winter to design these.

$365 includes two control arms, powder coat, bushings, and grease fittings. It does not include shipping though. I'm emailing you now so we can talk further.

I'd be interested as well! What's the timeframe look like and any header clearance issues on a 3" drop in front with Spintech Mid lengths?

I have a 4in drop on the front of my truck, and my long tubes miss by miles! The turn around time is 2 weeks, I make them to order. Send me your zip and I'll get you a firm quote.
My paypal info is on the first page but here it is again: quick00rt59@aol.com

For me it's functionality. Plus after I sold my last Dakota I swore if I was ever to do it again , I wasn't gonna skimp on anything this go around. I'll probably look into lowers as well.

They keep you from denting the header on the right side and allow you to adjust camber and castor more. They also probably do help handling alot I noticed that the front end of my truck feels tighter and more responsive through turns.

They weight 3lbs less per side I think. I can't really remember the exact weight difference, so it could be more.

If I lowered my price I would be losing money. I'm barely making money off of these as it is.

I believe the price is fair, they look really nicely made (props), and I like all the benefits you get from having these (adjustable, grease fittings, bolt on ball joints). Airbagit.com lists for $389 just checked, and I believe that is for unfinished raw steel - powdercoat costs extra.
Keep these around please, for I'll want a set when I drop my truck (whenever that day comes :jester:)

Hey there,
Are you still making/selling these? Think I may be ready to order a set pretty soon as my stock UCA bushings are shot...
I assume the bushings are poly on these, and if so are they graphite impregnated?
Also how do you go about replacing the bushings on these when they wear out? Are the parts widely available and how much effort, special tools, etc. do you need to replace them?
Thanks!

Bushings, are easily removable, nothing extra special there. The material I use for bushings is Delcon, 10x better then poly as far as longevity. So you would have to change the truck before bushings.

If these are still available this winter ill probably buy a pair. I'm gonna replace all the bushings and ball joints on the truck. Some header clearance would be nice also.
