I saw this online, curious how it sounds. I dont like how the xm radios sound, i always get a little static coming thru the speaker and have to turn the volume way up. I have the commander MT now. http://www.oemautosound.com/pc-494-149-ipod-and-xm-satellite-for-dodge-2002-to-2006-original-radios.aspx

That's kinda cool! I wonder if there is one out for Sirius.

if you have xm or sirius in your car that is a add on, buy the FM Modulator/Direct link for it, it will sound a lot better with no static

but that interface above takes the place of all of that correct?
The whole sound level thing also depends a lot on the channel you listen to. I have 6 programmed channels on my radio, and none of them play at the same level when switching between them. The worste is XM Comedy which I have to turn up quite a bit.

that's true, especially if you run an MSD. All of my vehicles have them now

The two companies are going to merge now. So it will be interesting to see what happens. They claim their prices are going to go down for their packages.

The merger was approved by the courts saying it will not create a monopoly due to the many other means of listening to music through cell phone, HD radio, normal radio, and MP3 players, now just waiting on the FCC ruling.

Just installed this, sounds great, just like reg radio, radio functions arent 100%, you only get 5 presets and the seek button scrolls through the channels. The steering wheel controlls all work except the left button, it doesnt change the presets like on the reg radio. All in all i say its worth it, keeps it looking clean inside (cant see anything) and an easy install.

IIRC the Stilletto will do the same thing in a Sirius format.

That's correct, we have that on all 3 of our vehicles now. The static problems are long gone now. That is the best sound you're going to get from an add-on type satellite system.
