These just came in today. Im kicking myself in the ass for running a dual oil filter setup, and yes it was cheaper to buy two then it was to switch to a single setup. Their 4.5x6 and 45 micron. Supposed to flow 35gpm at .5psi according to the sales rep. Ryan J had a customer go from 20psi at idle with a fram to 45 at idle with a wix and then 55 at idle with theses.

edit: can someone move this to the multimedia section

Wow, those look real nice and those flow numbers are awesome.

Would like to see some photos of your setup if available.

I do not care for the dual filter setup or the cooler adaptor. Come summer I may change everything to go straight through the cooler then into the filters that way I dont have the adaptor.

yeah but you never have to buy another filter and you always get to see whats in it without cutting it open. Personally I think its worth it.

So they're cleanable/reusable? That's not bad then.

yup. Just pull the filter out and wash with soap and water:biggthumpup: They also have a 4.5x4 for about 140.

I like that, and that you can see what's in the filter each time without having to cut it open. Might have to look into these some more.

I can see the oil filters, since they are reusable. Not a bad investment.
I do think Brian's getting a free "reach-around" with his deal though! LOL

Did I miss the filtration efficiency, you know, to what micron size they filter too?

Read the first post. Unless you were talking about the trufilters? On the trufilter 'why give us your money' page they say 30 micron.

AMSOIL's dual set-up cost around $300 and filters as low as 2 microns at 98.7 efficiency.

Oops. Coming back to the thread again I guess I scanned too quick. Thanks.

picked up about 5psi at idle and 10psi cruising with 10w30. Switched to brad penn 20w50 and see 40psi at idle and 70/75 cruising when oil is cold and around 20/25psi at idle and 60psi while crusing when oil temp is 190.
