i am going to change the oil in the truck next friday. and i was wondering if mopar oil filters are any good?

i dont know how good they are but i have run them before but now i pretty much run wix all the time. carquest's in house filters are made by wix, so i run those, they are only 3 bucks. Ive never heard anything bad about the mopar filters though

They're all I've ever use. I buy them by the case!
When my machine shop cut a few of them open to inspect for bearing chunks after the first build, he said it was one of the better filters he'd seen.

for one reason or another- when i use mopar filters, they leak just a cunt hair. i dont know why. never have a problem with anyone elses filters....

I work in parts at a dodge dealership here in antioch il. so thats all we sell:jester: but we never have no issues with any of the mopar filters. The mopar 5281090 oil filter fits all magnum v8s and magnum v6s. In my opinion I would go with what the manufacturer originally put on the truck. just my opinion though.
