Is anyone a hiring manager that is willing to proof read my resume and give me some feedback on the format, etc?
TIA

Just Curious. What type of job are you applying for?

I'm just updating a general resume to put out on monster.com as well as give to a former boss.
He has connections with a lot of companies and can circulate it around for me.

Rich,
I just got done with a Transition Assistance class, and the lady that puts it on specializes in Resumes...I can e-mail her and ask if she'd mind taking a look at it if you'd like. Not sure if she does it just for us Military guys that are transitioning or if she'd do it for civilians as well, but I don't think it'd hurt to ask.

that seps/taps shit is nonsense... we actually had a guy come in and tell us how to wear a suit. like...uh, wtf?
i'm pretty good at the resume/cover writing.. in fact i think mine was too good.... ill send you mine or look over yours if you like.
dont waste your time with monster--- or career builder.
in the end i got my job out of the newspaper--- but the best online resource ive found was linkedin.com
good luck

Hi I am a facilities manager and have hired over 300 employees, if you would like I could take a look at it, but understand that my area expertise is in the real estate field.

That reminds me. I think that DeVry will look at it for me.

I think that its best to get your resume out on as many places as possible.
Since I updated me resume on Monster last night, I've had a phone call and 2 emails. I was on linkedin as one point, but I think that I canceled the account. Sounds like its time to rejoin.
Give me your email and I'll send my resume over. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated
Thanks.

I would really appreciate it. I just want to get some feedback from managers.
What is your email address and I'll send it over.
Thanks again.
