KRC claims thier 210x out performs the Comp Cam 604. They claim " a much stronger torque powerband". According to Comp the specs are the same between the two cams. Someone with more understanding than me, please confirm or rebuke this claim.
I think that is the specs I'm looking for, but I am leery of doing business with KRC. But if they're comparable, I'll buy the Comp, and call it a day.
FWIW, My mods (installed,or on order) to date are, 52MM F&B, 2bbl M1,Mopar pcm, EQ heads fully worked with 2.02 valves,.600 springs, MS 2800 stall, 1.7 RR, MSD 6a, Mopar headers,y-pipe, 3" single exhaust, 4:56 gears, a/c delete, electric fan.

KRC cams all come from Comp cams so unless they are different specs they are the same.
Oh and I wouldn't by a roll of toilet paper from KRC period. Poorest customer service I have ever dealt with.

i think the only difference between a comp 604 and the 210x is that the 604is a 112lsa cam and the 210x is cut on a 110lsa. I believe the regular krc 210 is the same cam as the comp 604.

As noted, those cams are the very same lobes, just one has a tighter LSA. The 110* LSA will have a higher tq output, but in a tighter band than the 112* LSA will.
I have the Comp 604 cam in mine which is the KRC210 cam. It has a very flat torque curve.

Smokes them hard at any RPM. I just added ported Eddys so I expect those numbers to be higher now.

I ordered mine from Summit. It was 50.00 cheeper than KRC, but that was 4 or 5 years ago, but it's worth checking.

A 210X cam can be reground from a stock core for $150 from Comp. Current turn around times are on their website.

So... I send them a stock 360 cam, and they can grind a 210X for me, total cost $150 + what ever it cost for shipping?

Yep. That price might have changed in the last two years, but it should be close to that. Says 48 hour lead on custom grinds right now.

There's your cam card to go with it.

Are these specs based on 1.6 rockers? The 210X is speced at .512 lift.

Gross valve lift is commonly measured with a 1.5 ratio rocker. The lobe lift is .320x1.6=.512.

No prob. The real fun starts when you get to degree that cam in.

is it very important to degree in this cam? my mechanic installed it dot to dot on a JP timing chain. Still pondering if i should have it degreed in. Just waiting to see if the torque converter is my problem but I am about 20hp low at the rear wheels for my combo and i doubt that its all because of the converter. Also my gas mileage is horrible now too (overhead says 10.4 average and i dont drive it crazily). Is it a big process to redegree the cam like does the entire radiator have to come out again or can it be done from under the truck somehow? I know the intake manifold shouldnt have to come back off again so thats the good part.

That'd be a Moparts question to ask if you are gonna pick up that much from degreeing it in. Usually that just moves your powerband around some. What kinda AFR numbers do you have on the dyno? My heads/cam 360 was a bit of a dog with a Tom Fox flash until I switched to 24lb injectors. It was running pretty lean until I did that. Definitely picked up a ton of torque down low to mid range. Might be time for an SCT tune.

My A/F was around 12.5:1-13:1 but it got rich at around 5000rpm. This was with Tom Fox reflashing the computer. Before this I had the B&G M1 flash and I was at around 14:1 A/F. When Tom reflashed it I picked up about 5 ft-lbs and 1hp but thats it.
