I got my buddy Branx5.9 ;) I've been seeing other R/T's now of lately and wondering if any of you owners are on here? I've seen an Intense Blue w/ white R/T decals and 2 red R/T's. One of the red's has a body kit with yellow R/T decals, hmmmmm.....

We should have a small R/T club. Would love to meet the local R/T owners :D I work at Autozone in New Albany. Come by and say, "hi!" So far I'm the only chick with the black CC R/T! Any who, don't be a stranger.

During the summer I know the mcdonalds in Sellersburg has a car show a couple of times a month. That would be a good place to meet up. I usually go with my family. This year we are also planning on going to the Mopar Nationals in Columbus Ohio, we are going to go ahead and reserve rooms soon. If anyone is going up there let me know!

Send me details, I want to go! I'm getting the R/T repainted here soon. I can't stand the clear issues on the roof. Definitely let me know when there is local meets as I want to meet everyone.

I worked at the Autozone there off the Scottsburg exit on 65 for a few weeks. I saw you drive by and the guys at the Autozone told me about you. I guess you're a frequent customer, lol ;)

I live in the Indy area, my friend Jesse aka OrangeRT lives in Newburgh, near Evansville, and Chris aka White99Dak, who lives in Louisville, all meet up in Lawrenceville IL. at the Bowler Transmission's 2 day event in July. Would be cool to have alot of Dakotas represented there.
The Bowler show is 2 days, day one is a Cruise-in/autocross. Those not autocrossing will go on a cruise to the local DQ(never done that :) ) Day 2 is a judged car show/drag racing, awards, lunch.
Again it would be nice to see some Daks there, and autocrossing is a blast!!!

You have blue R/T decals? Are you the only white one around in Scottsburg because they knew who you were. As for car parts I don't shop at either one of those stores. New Albany Auto Parts has my heart. They own a machine shop, body shop and build some killer motors. I trust their parts store for they've been in the business for over 30 years and I nor my family has had any problems with them. They even carry stuff for old school vehicles. I got everything I needed from them for my 64' Valiant.

Oh my, 502 anything is gay. This goes for 502ss, 502throttle and underground. UG really isn't that bad compared to the others, but still everyone thinks their shit don't stink. When I first moved here from Florida 7 years ago a local kid told me to join their sites because I was into car shows, restoration and performance. Unfortunately, at the time I was into Nopi and Hondas, and that wasn't their cup of tea. Girls get bashed for no reason and if you don't have a 20K + car you get made fun of or banned just for talking. It seemed no matter what you said it wasn't right to their standards. The sites were unhelpful and every thread you read someone was bashing a person's ride or them.

When girls wouldn't post photos of themselves they would get banned either because they didn't believe it was a real female who had mechanical knowledge or because they weren't attractive enough. If you did post photos of yourself you would get bashed anyway. They would call you a whore, ugly, you need to be this way or that. If you had a body kit or a stock car you were automatically disqualified.

I haven't been on their forums for some time and I will never go back. Why would you want to be a part of a site like that? Would you honestly consider people like that car pals? I'm all for jokes, but there is a point when you cross a line.

Another thing you keep calling me bro, I'm a chick :nono:

Well, I'm looking outside and there's several inches on the ground. I waxed my Jeep all up the other day and got the salt off it, here goes another round. I wouldn't dare take the R/T out in this weather. I want to keep it nice. Salt will eat it up for breakfast.

wow. I saw a senior lady driving a huge new Super Duty Ford yesterday and she couldn't drive it, I'm like OMG! I could not imagine an old lady driving an R/T. Some people need to be practical.

When I lived in Florida it was ridiculous when it came to car owners. I came out of Publix (grocery store) back in FL and this lady I swear had to be in her 90's had a hard time pushing her cart through the parking lot. I went up to her and helped her. I asked where her car was and she told me it was the blue one over there! I said, "The Vette?" She said, "Yes, mam'!" It was a brand new 2000 Corvette which at the time just came out. She couldn't unlock the car and her hands were shaking so bad I could not see how she could even drive the car. I asked her if she just bought the car and she told me that she always wanted a Corvette, so she bought it with her retirement money. I saw her start the car and I saw her drive away. Unfortunately she didn't make it out of the car lot. She hit the pole.

Me too. How many inches do you have hun? It's snowing again (its 4:07pm). I'm just about done scrapping up the driveway. It's exhausting for I have about 5 inches every where, lol. Everything is turning into ice now, so I have to hurry up and get the outside done.
