I punched a hole in the radiator getting the old engine out yesterday. I've got a good line on radiators, but I'm wondering if I went to a 2000+ and changed the overflow to the tube on top would I have to change any thing else also? I've seen a few pics of aftermarket over flow, how much did you guys spend to do this?

I don't know, but sure as hell would use something other than a concrete block to hold the truck up....

That's just under the front diff, jack under the tranny, and two jack stands under the front frame. :jester:

I have an 02 and a 98 I like the 98 design better myself. But that is just me:jester:

Probably makes more sense to use the reservoir I already have any way. W/ the reservoir on top is that side open to air flow?

on the 2002 the overflow and resivor combine to make top half of fan shroud it works but might make some mods harder
