UPDATE; 8's or bust project

Here is an update of my R/T,the chassis work is done,it just certified to 8.50's thursday and now it will go in for paint when the weather gets better.

Thanks :biggthumpup: I'm hoping for 8.50's with the stock magnum block,46RE tranny,EFI with SCT,and a 400 shot of juice on it.I believe it would be the first in the 8's with the maggy motor and 46RE.

Do you really think a magnum block can withstand that much HP? I would love to turn my boost up past the 13-14 lbs I run now but have little faith the block would hold for any length of time.

Shit its still gonna have power windows,power locks, keyless entry,and the stock interior,hell I'm even gonna drive it to the grocery store :rockwoot:
It will still be fully streetable and street legal(except for the tires).

heim joint for steering shaft came in,tail pipes are made and ready for weld,should have all the small shit done by monday-tuesday.
Should go into paint booth next week end,I'll get some paint pics of the chassis and cage,and bed skins,then all the aluminum goes in the truck :rockwoot:

Good but slower than I'd like,got the chassis all painted with por-15,tore aprat the front suspension,painted it all and put it back together,also painted the front fram esection in por-15.
Got my spool,axles,calipers,rotors and bearings,got the rear end welded up and finished today,going to th powder coater today or monday.Hope to have the roll cage painted by next week and start on the sheet metal work.
Trying to make the mopar southeast nationals at the end of may,gonna be close :biggthumpup:
