i was just looking at comp cams. I was thinking the same thing when i looked at that cam. For my application i was thinking of the 210int, 220ex .512, .512 on my 1.7 it would be .544 with a 112cl. It might be good for my everyday driver being that it is going to pull decent vac.

I've got a great cam for a blower: Comp Cam grind - 230/236 duration, .55x/590 lift, 114lsa.

This'll make any cam truck move, and I was able to run in no issues on a stock PCM so it'll be no issuje with MP PCM, B&G, or of course SCT.

Interested?

If you're doing a 408 blown or even nice 360 that cam is not enough IMO. I ran it only on NA/juice bolt on 360. It did OK though.

Actually your cam will be fine. Nice thing about a boosted setup is you don't need to run a big cam to make good power :) Of course a bigger cam will help make more power, the choice is up to you. Especially if you're going with SCT or a standalone and can tune it. If you're gonna keep it on a flash, that cam will be fine. Altho, bigger cam also means a higher stall and/or gears, always gotta keep the total package in mind.

Yea I would actually like to keep this thing tame enough to be on the street. i am afraid if I put to big of a cam that it would be to crazy to drive on the street. I want to keep the stock gears and put maybe a 3k stall on it. If I pull 11's I am happy.

Dave makes some good points about a blower making good power even with a smaller cam. I personally would go a little stiffer on the duration.

It helps if you quote the post when you're replying to a specific post. A lot of have sniffed too many fumes and get confused easily :jester:

I don't know about completely street friendly, it's gonna be pretty nasty with that cam. Have you talked to Lloyd yet about how his 245 cam is on the street?
