I'm going to be installing Fatmat or something similar to reduce the road and exhaust noise. My question is, do I need to install anything else, like heat blocker material on the floor or will the Fat mat alone do the job?
Thanks,
Mike

Nah, the Fatmat will work fine for noise and heat control. Just make sure it's somewhat warm when you put it on otherwise it'll be a bitch to get to stick to weird contours.
When I did mine, I cleaned all the metal thoroughly with 409 then wiped down with some acetone. Been about 4 years so far and no problems.

Did you notice a big difference before/after?... and did you do just the floors or the cab/doors/roof too?...

I did the entire CC area except the roof and covered the rear vents as well. I put a layer on the outer skin as well as the inner skin of the sides the doors. That alone made a pretty big difference in the noise level. I didn't do the floor under the front seats and up to the firewall because I intended to use some other stuff there.

I did Dynamat on my truck. Hella expensive but worth the money! I did all of the floor, doors, behind my rear seats. I did a small square behind all 4 of my speakers too and around all 4 speakers of course. No roof though.
