Hi guys,
I have developed a brake pulsation and have already taken a bit off these rotors with an on the car mill in the past. What is the discard thickness on stock rotors? I want to mic them up and see if I can cut them again or if they will need to be replaced.

I looked a bit and found on Autozone site that it is .890 minimum for the rotors.

If you have cut them before, replace them.

They were thick enough, but I found a great deal on rotors at my local speed shop. I got EBC slotted and dimpled rotors, with the black zinc oxide coating for 163 dollars the next day. I just finished bedding them in with fresh HAWK HPS pads, I will let you guys know what I think about them once I get some more miles on them, so far I like them a LOT.

(They were only cut before because I drive like a pansy and glazed them, only needed one pass with the lathe to clear it up)

No need to fuck around with the stock junk anyway.

I HIGHLY recommend the EBC dimpled and slotted rotors. They litterally saved me from a trip to the hospital this morning. Had I not freshened up my brakes I know I wouldn't have stopped in time for some asshole cutting me off on the highway going at least 30mph slower than me (he was going to miss his exit so he slammed on his brakes and cut across my lane without looking)

This rotor/pad combo bites HARD and doesnt fade, it's great.
