That's sorta what i thought. Mabe their is a cowl scoop that you can buy for the stock hood?

there's nothing out there that won't need a bunch of modification to make it fit the lines of the stock hood. then you have to fasten it down and blend it in with filler and glass.

criticize it or the price however much you want but its an awesome hood and unlike a lot of fiberglass hoods out there, it actually fits.

AAR used to charge ~$420 for their cuda/cowl hoods, but prices went up over the last year. I wouldn't be surprised if it's because of the new ownership - was told that Penstar or someone like that "bought out" AAR - it's still Dave/etc. building the hoods, but contracted through the new parent company or whatever arrangement they have.

It does look good, but it's too much for it, IMO. I never criticized the hood, :rtfm: :jester:
