Thinking of selling the Durango

Well I have had my 03 4.7 Durango SXT for 7 months. I believe I might let it go to find something better on fuel MPG. It does alright I get about 405 miles on a tank of gas, but it has the extra 7 gal tank SLT tank. Just lately ive been doing alot of driving. Shitty thing the clear coat on hood is going south already, door window motor took a dive. I could fix them I guess, just not sure its worth my while. Probably could get $ 4500 for it seeing its got 88k miles. Been eyeing the SRT4 Neon's pretty quick, gets way better mpg than the "D". Should I? Or hang it out and pay the price in gas, to have a R/T and Durango? Dan

The SRT4's don't get an astounding gas mileage as one might think, my wife only gets 24mpg in hers, and she doesn't drive it hard. It's better than the Durango I'm sure, but you still have to run premium fuel, so the savings aren't that great. If you're a bigger guy, don't get the Viper seats, they are uncomfortable to me on long trips. Fun to drive, but not all that practical.

Thank you Jason for replying, I like getting some user reviews. After you telling me you have to put premium gas in it. That isn't gonna save me anything. Plus I am 245 lbs so also the seat info was helpfull to. Thank you sir. Guess I will keep the Durango lol. Dan
