shift kits

Any one here ever use a shift kit? The advance guy tells me a B&M won't work on a dodge tranny, but B&M does make one for Dodge. Any one used Transgo? or another brand? Advance says they have a "level 10" for dodge.

Lots of guys use the transgo kit. Fairbanks makes a kit, only seen a couple people with them.

I have a transgo in my truck. At WOT the tranny shifts nice and firm, no complaints... Just my $.02

I bought a valve body from Martin Saine. Hes pretty good with a vb. I had a shift kit in my original but I could really tell the difference in Martins vb. Its worth it. MSAINE1213@aol.com

Do your homework here....I mean REALLY do it.

Transgo has different levels of shift kits and reprogrammers for the 46RE, and all have different options for the install as in where and what size holes to drill, what springs to use etc...etc...etc.

I agrree with Boss....Get a valve body from Martin Saine...Tell him what you want, he'll do it, life is good.

If you race it, get the non lock up valve body, I loved mine.

With od off, it's like a straight 3 speed, no third gear bog....turn od on....it's back to normal.
