C'mon guys. Support your local timeslip database! It's sticky'd in the General section. I'd move it to drag racing....

I would, but my trip a couple weeks ago was pretty bad because, first I need a torque converter bad, second the custom tunes via SCT are crappy right now since they are tuned for boost since the previous owner had a Powerwhine on it, so it is too rich and doesn't have enough timing for NA, and third it runs like crap and shifts too early with the stock tune. Needs a converter REAL bad! 60ft was only 2.0 with M&H drag radials, Cal-tracs, and front drag shocks with NO wheel spin that I could feel. I just wanted a baseline run before the Procharger goes on even though I knew that it wouldn't run to it's true NA potential without a proper tune and converter, but I did want a baseline because I am impatient and want get the blower on soon.

So is the thread that Bryan started the "official" thread or was the other guy collecting the info and going to post everyone's info at a later date?

I guess we never got this thread going? Did we give up putting a list of the timeslips together? Would be nice to get it in place before this season's drags start up.

I'll be submitting some times this year. :) We need to do a real timeslip database like other sites have.

That would be pretty cool to have an R/T only timeslip database.

No. I think the list is just fine the way it is. I'm sitting at #1 on the list and we quit taking anybody else's times to keep it that way. :nana:

I'm actually in position #7 on the Dak-Dur list of the regular "forum" Dakotas. I sure there are actually lots more quick ones out there that aren't sucking up bandwidth on a daily basis that we just don't hear about. My "discretionary" spending is nearly zero - so I'm bound to slide down the list for awhile. It's all good! :woot:

I'm not even in the top 10 over there :( Hopefully I can break into the top 5 this year, we'll see. I hear on the discretionary spending, I'm in the same boat, gonna have to try not to break anything. :)

I'm 4th over there and only 1 R/T is quicker. As for money spending thats a lost cause now no mo moola :hail: Oh and Dave top 5 should be damn easy once your spraying full out we cannot match that RWHP with these magnum blocks without a giant KABOOM!

Exactly R/T's only not these light ass Gen 2's over on the Dak/Dur board.

Hooking up might be a problem with 800+rwhp LOL But we'll see how it goes. I'll probably run 12's @ 140 :jester:

I keep having these strange thoughts about building a BIG big-block with a 727 and then putting a BIG turbo on it. You know... just random thoughts. And pulling this drivetrain out of the Dakota and putting it in something like a little Conquest TSi or something similar. Just as a "sporty" little car to commute in.

I've always loved Conquests, one with a turbo'd smallblock would be badass!

Now how would I carry all of my tools, a floor jack, some jack stands, a set of slicks, a box of extra parts, an ice chest and a folding chair in THAT bed?

Is that your new secret weapon? I thought you just used 4 rims/tires back there for better traction :jester:
