I can see $15k for that truck. It's got over $15k just in parts on it, only thing left to upgrade is the trans.

I'd pay $15K for a well put together R/T. That one needs more than a tranny upgrade for full potential though. Headers and exhaust are aweful small, as well as the tb and 2bbl intake.

Well there you go buy it and make it right.

Ah, if only there wasn't so many issues I've heard coming from KRC. And it says "DAKOTA" not "VIPER" :jester:

You can call it a Viper if that makes you feel better. :jester:

I meant major upgrades :) Those parts are all minor, and easily swapped. It still makes decent power for being a lil corked up, but definitely more potential there.

Yeah, but all those pieces, including tranny runs about $4K!!! That's a MAJOR upgrade....er downgrade on the wallet! :jester:

You'd get most if not all of it back by selling the parts you remove though.

Jason isnt very good at buying things to sell them intentionally - that seems to be your area of expertise :jester:

Exactly! Either way, you'd be hard pressed to build a truck with those same parts for less than $15k, including the price of the truck.

Oh I agree! I had about that much into mine, and it wasn't near the monster that thing is. But we all have different ways of building these things.

the funny thing is that the truck is still for sale on ebay and the price is now 18,500

That truck has been on e-bay for almost 3 years......I know of at least 1 person that has been watching it for a while now......but you are right the starting bid went up to 18,500 on Mon. or Tue.....BTW the reserve is 25k for those of you that might be interested. He has come down from 40, to 35, to 30, to 25. we will see what happens from there:nana:

By the time he gets to the price that I would be willing to pay (and able to pay) I will be able to go to the 2010 or 2011 nats......lol
