I will be moving up there in a couple of months and wanted to see if there are any local dakota guys.

Grew up in East Aurora, do you know where you'll be moving to? A "couple of months" will have you getting there in the winter...... hope you like snow :D
A buddy of mine in Salamanca recently got a 99 DA RC, there are a few out there!

i will be working in getzville. Yeah winter sucks, i used to live in MA so i can deal with the snow.

Sorry man, I'm on the other side of the state,the lake george area, you'll get ALOT of lake effect snow, its been known to get 3 feet at a time, good luck on your move.

huh, the head office of the company i work with is in glens falls. yeah the snow is the only down side of the move

I haven't been on here in a while, but I live Lancaster about 20 mins outside of Buffalo. I had two buddies with RT's but sold them and moved on. I still have mine but been under construction for a while, planning on having it running by spring time.
We've been lucky so far about the snow, just finally had snow fall for the first time this week and it's already gone because of the rain. We usually have snow by now, alot of snow..

Isn't that the truth...I just put my truck in storage yesterday. Last year I did it on December 1st...both are extremely late in the year for this area. I heard Albany got like 5"-6" of snow today, but nothing here in Syracuse...

IDK if Albany got 5"-6" of snow, but as soon as I drove north of Albany it stopped snowing. Cruz control set at 80 mph in the fast lane while the snow is coming down! Must be an Upstate NY thing!!!!

I'll be moving up to West Point, NY in May which is not to far from Albany. Do you guys ever meet up or anything?

Agreed. There's a good number of us in NY, but we're all over the state...

I wouldn't mind working something out in the spring/summer, but I know it will be tough just because of how spaced out we all are.
