I've spent quite a bit of money on my truck in the last couple of weeks. I really want to get an aftermarket hood and a K&N Xtream lid, But I have to hold off so I purchased a cai from summit for 79.99 the end results aren't to bad It will last till I can purchase my hood. (Asap i'm going to sand down that ulgy chrome tube and paint it black.)

When i had my mustang i bought summit parts, and they fit great. I had summit headers and a h-pipe. Fitment was great too.

The part number is GRM-10-303
and you can even use the 10% summit discount code on it. I was really suprised with all the kit came with. Comes with a new mount for your cruise control and everything.

The only thing I did diffferent with it was on the heat shield. I took and drilled out the mounting point and the attached it where a fender bolt was.

Wrap that chrome metal tube piece in a sheet of thermal insullation, to keep the cool air inside as cool as possible.

Could you tell any difference with the install?

Not sure why they put the air foil where they did. Stock and K&N is perpendicular to driver's side.
