slight whine, faster you go the louder. if I'm off the gas with the windows down, i can hear it. as soon as get back on the gas the exhaust drowns it out.

I'm hoping my guy didnt fuck them up.. i might pull the cover, check the wear pattern, and the backlash. i should of just done them my self.

i went with motive...there is a slight whine but like others say, you can barely notice it due to the exhaust....i purchased mine from moes performance...think i paid around $260 (free shipping)

How do you like the truetrac? What's the stickest tire you've used it with?

i like the true trac i have ran slicks with it. my buddy has a 1000+hp gen 2 lightning trans brakes at 4000, truck weighs 4400lbs, he uses a true trac if he can break it, i wont and most of u wont either.

I went with the less expensive Motives. The engine and exhaust drown out the gear noise. It's not something that is really noticeable. Large gears tend to make a little noise anyway.

I blew my stock lsd out with the stock engine. I went with an Auburn but probably should have gone with the Truetrac. So far the Auburn is functioning well and was cheaper than the Truetrac.

That's what I wanted to hear. The truck is still very much a backroads burner, don't need any locker surprises at 60+mph in the woods.
