I'm going to be doing my ball joints this weekend(if the parts arrive) and I figured I would install my DJM 2" drop coils springs on the front as well. I would like to replace my shocks at that time too.
Anybody run the Rancho 9 way adjustables on a lowered R/T?
If you know part numbers for the fronts specifically, that would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Yeppers.....still the factory ones with 172K on 'em. I'm prepared for war...LOL
To answer my own post, I contacted Rancho and they DO NOT sell adjustable front shocks for a lowered Dakota. I do a remeber a post where SLVRT03 (I know it's something like this) has or had installed some for the rears. I'd be interested in hearing from him.

Well...here I go answering my own post again.
His name on here is SLVR03DAKRT and this was stolen from one of his posts.
"I would also reccomend a good drag shock such as qa-1's or rancho rs 9000 adj. I picked up my ranchos from calevert racing and they work great "

I really like my rancho 9-way adj on the rear. It made a night and day difference on the strip compared to regular belltech nitro drop shocks. The rear end would bottom out on hard launches and cause it to break traction about 5 ft of the line from the suspension loading and unloading. With just the shocks it cured most of the problem then later down the road I added a set of caltrac bars and it made for a more consistant hook on drag radials. On the front I'm running belltech lowering springs and belltech nitro drop shocks and 2in lowering block in the rear. I drive the truck everyday and it still has a good feel out on the normal roads.

All you need is an air chisel with a good sharp chisel on it and it will get them off with ease

You happen to know the part number on the rear shocks? I looked at thier site and they dont have them listed for the rear of our trucks. Thanks.
