Pretty sure no one makes a kit that includes oliver rods. You'll probably have to source those separately. Who's building the shortlbock? They might be able to source the parts cheaper than you could on your own.

Some of the best rods out there, pricey tho. Last I checked they were around $1600 for a set. Probably overkill for a build that's using a stock block. But if you had a good block and wanted to make 1000hp, these are the way to go.

If you are using a stock magnum block even with half fill, stud girdle and billet main caps you block will crack before a set of eagle h-beams will. Also if you are just using a eagle or scat crank then the oliver rods are over kill, now if running say a crower or Callie's billet crank with pendulum weights and ultra light(ugl) then hells yeah oliver or crower billet rods all the way.

Should be soon. They just poured the first two recently. One was cut apart for QC, and one is on display at a show. This is the XR2, for the P7 heads. The XR1 will be for the W heads or Magnum heads. Not sure when that's coming out, but from the chatter on Moparts, sounds like soon. Hit up Ryan at ShadyDell if you're serious about ordering one, let him know your plans and I'm sure he can build you a nasty setup.

No official price yet, but rumors are a lil under $3k for a machined block. Hop into chat and we can talk about it :)

3K for XR1 or XR2 block?
I would think they should be around the same price, but again, no official pricing has been released yet. From what I understand the XR2 will be for the P7 NASCAR heads, and the XR1 will be for W and Magnum heads.
