WOW !
That was incredible seeing the nitro cars go 4 wide at Charlotte...
I can only imagine what the ground felt like with those cars going by.:drive::rockwoot:

And still didn't manage to sell the place out. I was there on Friday and it was pretty dead.

I was watching and waiting for the four wide, but had to put the Giants game on. I figured I could always watch it on youtube. :D

It's less than 30 miles away, but I heard the track prep sucks ass...bad. If I hear it getting better, then I'll go. Right now, I'd rather drive further to Rockingham. Lower elevation too.

I don't know what they've been doing for the limited test and tunes they have but track prep this week appeared to be stellar. Even on Friday after it had been rained on over night and they had to completely dry the track in the morning, it hooked right from the get go for Comp Eliminator and right into the Alcohol and Fuel classes. The groove appears to be pretty narrow but other than that it looked prepped extremely well from starting line all the way down. For the more TnT stuff, I can't speak for.

Yeah, I hear about the issue when they speak of test and tune on CarolinaRides.com. The typical street squirells don't help either, I'm sure. Probably tracking water up to the line. I go around the water, back up to it, give a quick blip...pull forward a few feet more. Then warm the tires up. It's helped me get my 60ft down to 1.994 on st tires.

I liked Force doing the old school match race burn out past the 660 mark.

I thought it was pretty interesting that Antron Brown virtually didn't do a burn out in the far right hand lane and still ran a 3.86.

I saw it and wasn't all that impressed. I'm sure I would have enjoyed seeing and hearing it in person though.

I'm originally from NC. My parents live in Greensboro. I'm back now that I graduated from college, and I'll be moving to Charlotte within the next week for my job. Right now it looks like I'll be living Uptown.
I saw where you were selling tickets, Friday was good enough for me and I didn't want to have to make the trip back down for Sunday.
