I need to clean my truck and from tnt's in a row, got a decent amount of rubber stuck to the rear bumper, wheel wells. I was wondering if spraying something on there would keep it from sticking and let it wash off for the most part.

Crap. Can someone move this thread for me?

You can try the Non-stick cooking sprays. That or use painters tape and just peel it off.

But I can go to wal mart and get the store brand non stick spray. Probably pretty cheap. As long as it doesn't harm the paint...

non-stick cooking spray is just pressurized vegetable oil, it will not hurt the paint at all, and will even make oxidized paint look good (I used to spray it on my old red 4runner when i had a date:D)

I just hate spending money if it doesn't make the truck more efficient, faster, or for upkeep.

I normally leave it on my Cuda, when I drive it to a show, people give me some slack, seeing the burnt rubber and the lack of trailer. The tubs look like they were sprayed with rhino liner :jester:

John Steinbeck's "Red Badge of Courage" comes to mind.

It's only the first layer that sticks.
