Do I have to have it down to .75 to get it to idle?
So far, I have 1.15 minimum and 3.77 maximum. The metal sleeves are completely gone from the holes in the TPS. Can I slot the plastic body some more if I need .75 to idle?
Thanks!!

You're not throwing a code ? I would think you'd get a TPS out of range code. All you're really setting with that is where the PCM thinks zero throttle is anyway. You seem to have enough voltage range there for the TPS to provide an accurate reading though. Try it.

If I remember what Danno was saying, he said you pretty much have to cut away most of the material (even plastic) to get the correct reading. I say slot it even more.

I did that and I got it to .75 and it will idle down, but only if I apply pressure to the linkage and force the blades closed more. There is a stop screw, but it doesn't touch it at rest, you have to apply pressure.
I wonder if that's easily fixable....

So is the TPS causing the blades to be open or would that be more of a TB issue?

Mine did that as well. But I dont remember the fix I used. I think I cracked the secondary butterflys just a little.

Ooohh, I'll try that, thanks Danno!

So, it turns out that my secondaries were already cracked open, so when I opened them more, the idle picked up more, so I started to close it and it idled down nicely. They're as far closed as I can get them and it's idling like a 2bbl would. The progressive linkage is a little bit odd at first, but I'll get used to it.
Do you have the cruise control hooked up on yours?
