Went to the local 1/8 for some shakedown passes. Only got one datalog. LM-2 issues are resolved.

Race weight 3985
First pass.
1.979 60ft

8.778 ET

79.74 mph

Second pass.
2.069 60ft (I think there was some water at the light)

8.895 ET

79.788 mph

Mods.
M1 port matched, F&B 52x55 tb, 14x3 K&N w/ Etrm lid, bosch 4 hole inj's, HS 1.7 Non adj rockers shimmed, Smith Bros 7.050 pushrods, 15K mile old stock replacement valve springs shimmed .060 for 245 open 85 closed, heads ported by me with only a touch up of valve seat only, Heads milled for 9.1:1 compression, Eddy headers, JBA head pipes into true duals with H by me, AC delete and minor weight reduction, SCT tune by Sean (will be working on my prp tune next) UD crank pulley, electric fan, MSD wires, NGK zfr7f-11's with back cut strap, 160* thermostat, and last is Rhodes lifters on STOCK cam with .010 lash. Riken Raptor 255/50/17 at 25lbs.

It now pulls to at least 5500rpm. I short shifted 1-2 at 5500 and may work on that due to tune. Didn't want to tear up tranny by shifting 1-2 myself. I pulled it to about 5900-6k at the traps.

Needless to say, the Rhodes lifters basically set solid and the ported heads (all in all cost about $400 including the Rhodes lifters from my 408) netted some pretty good gains. My previous best ever at 30ft above sea level and 50 something degree and I think humidity around 60% was 8.907 with a 2.019 60ft and 77.95 mph. Now I'm at about 900ft and 63* and humidity in the 50's percentile. I'll correct the ET's for weather, probably tomorrow.

I'm pretty stoked! It worked!

Not too shabby.
@ Mooresville Dragway or where? That place is a pile to say the least, but the old men betting in the stands (if they still do) are HILARIOUS.

Thanks guys. I'm happy I'm moving forward.

Wish list would includes some race wheels, slicks, ds loop, and a new exhaust so I can put my Spintech midlengths on.New Truetrac would top it off nicely. I plan on trying to stay with the 3.92's.

Also, the tunes off. Looked at the datalogs and I'm in the 13.4 area. Running lean. Sean's gonna update it along with some trans tweaks to keep the truck from chugging at slow cruise after torque conv lockup.

congrats man...im tryin to get to where you are...im holding off on installing the gears due to the fact that i want maximize all that i can with the 3.92's. I will be heading to the track around late september (when the weather is decent). The port matching with the intake manifold and heads seem to benefited greatly. Sean tuned it for you to shift at at least 5500 consistently?

The rest was just cartridge rolled to clean up flash. I didn't want to open the avg csa too much with this cam.

I told him what works with my truck IE entering 6k into the sct scalars to get a 5500 1-2 shift. You won't even reach 5500 on the 2-3. You have to manually shift to get higher than that for the 2-3 shift. No still the typical dodge shifting.:D

Gotcha...I greatly appreciate the info. Do you plan on putting it on the dyno?

Gotcha...I greatly appreciate the info. Do you plan on putting it on the dyno?No time soon. I'll get some more a/f data and go to the track again. Then I'll just correct the times like a dyno does. 29.92, 60*, 0% humidity. It would be nice though, money is tight.

what were your issues with the LM-2?
Mine kept sticking on the A/F last night. Instead of pulling up for a burnout, I was unplugging it and waiting a minute for it to warm up.

Instead of pulling up for a burnout, I was unplugging it and waiting a minute for it to warm up.After a little over a year of logging 6 channels it stopped connecting with my pcm. I called Innovate and he asked how many channels I was logging. I told him and he said that was a lot for ISO 9141. I thought to myself...ok..I've been doing this over a year and NOW it doesn't want to connect with my pcm???
Anyway, I didn't tell him that. I just tried what he said. I now log 4 channels and it connects like it used to. So far...rpm, spark, map, engine coolant temp.

Best I could do was to convert the eigth mile time to quarter using the Wallace calculator.

It shows 13.74 @98.88mph. Who knows how accurate it is..faster or slower.??

Then corrected the et with Modular Depot DA calculator.

Data is from Dragtimes.com. on that date and time of pass.

Based on:
Temp: 71.6°
Humidity: 60%
Track Altitude: 923 feet
Pressure: 30.03 in.

Density Altitude = 2034 feet
Uncorrected 13.74 @ 98.88
Corrected 13.43 @ 101.14

My previous best 1/4

Based on:
Temp: 66°
Humidity: 84%
Track Altitude: 38 feet
Pressure: 29.93 in.

Density Altitude = 728 feet
Uncorrected 13.901 @ 99.26
Corrected 13.8 @ 100.01

Don't remember if I mentioned, Sean sent a new tune to work on fixing lean wot. ~13.4
