I'm moving the coil from it's stock location to the firewall. So I will have to get a short MDS coil wire (red 8.5). Where can I get one? I haven't seen anyone offer just a coil wire.

you can buy the boots and make one if you have an existing wire. Custom made a set on my dad racecar.

You can pull the boot and terminal off the current one and shorten it. Just pay attention to how it looks before cutting it.
