long time delphi forum user but if everyone is gonna come here i guess ill give it a try even if i hate bb code message boards.

i dont understand why they dont add a feature so you can reply to people instead of quotes. then you wouldnt have to keep checking the threads.

email notifications are not the same thing because they dont tell you if someone replys to you, just if someone replys in the thread.

so some of you have already heard me say that on delphi but i also said i was not gonna move over to this forum. well im forcing myself to give it a try. it does look good.

my other main gripe with the old main dakota r/t forum was censorship so i just gotta see if it lets me post this- FUCK!

This has been changed to 15 seconds. There is a lot of little tweaks in vBulletin like this one that will most likely have to be changed on the fly as we go along when people complain. I have been constantly adjusting my site's vB setup for almost 4 years now, have been trying to replicate everything that people seem to like in just a week's time - apparently I've taken for granted some things that I changed years ago and didn't realize I had to configure here.

Everyone's title is "Junior Member" by default when they sign up. If someone has a catchier title that can work for everyone that registers I can change it - let me know. In the meantime, anyone who is a registered user can change their title by clicking on the "User CP" option in the top-left corner of the screen, then select "Edit Profile" - scroll down a bit to see the Custom User Title option.
