i don't think i've ever posted em before... so, here they are. highly doubt its nhra legal.. but it's good enough for me, and i've never had a tech crawl under and check.
the toughest part was boxing in the frame & getting to the bolts back there.

Sometimes I have a problem with being too picky about things and sometime...when I go about it the hard way...I overcomplicate and possibly screw something up. Makes me gunshy.:D
At least me doing my 408, machining, balancing, porting, parts selection, assembly,...it turned out great. I think it's because I'm just good at the mechanical type things and love doing it.
As I've gotten older, I let just a little bit more go. Hell, it's stressful just leaving a nice ride in a parking lot. I've got three dings on my truck, one in the hood, one in the tailgate, and one by the fuel door. The one by the fuel door, my son opened a car door on it. Ouch. The two others were there when I bought the truck 3 years ago. I just had to let it go for now. Maybe when I finish this cnc school I'll have time and money to get the dings popped out. For now, I have to let it go and not stress.
You definitely have a nice, show quality truck that well represents a nice a good performing Dakota R/T. You and other Daks like yours makes all of us look good!

thanks man, i appreciate the kind words.
those little things eat at me sometimes too. not as much as they used to... eventually i figured out that no one actually notices that stuff. i pretty much grew out of handing out disclaimers whenever i was showing someone something on my truck.... lol, you know the "it's dirty" comment right before you pop the hood...
