Yep, I'm gonna start *ing their name. ;)

The NA times weren't that wonderful, but with the 727 and and Procharger, she seemed to scoot, no?

I guess some truck's like Kyle's/Krusty's blue one and others running low 13s on boltons on here have spoiled me. lol

Just seems like with stage 2 heads it should run low 12s..... but looking back, it doesn't even mention a custom flash does it? Wonder what the MPH was?

Also, as it sits there its a 4k lb DD. That's kinda nice. :)

Krusty's truck ran 12.2s dude. It ran that when Kyle had it, Krusty has went 12.4s with it.

I know, I didn't state his times (figured everyone on here knew). The low 13s were in reference to boltons (stock heads/cam) trucks. My wording was just poor.

Holy shit! I haven't seen Dana's name around in several years! He bought and painted my street scene roll pan for me, waaaay back there. Cool guy.

Yeah, Dana's truck definitely moves out. Hopefully we'll see him at the Nats this year. Speaking of which, I don't know if he's even on this site, he's on the NE Yahoo list, we'll have to make sure he gets over here.

12.7 n/a isn't bad, gotta remember it's setup for boost. He'll probably be in the 10's this year.

Hey Guys, Im the owner of the truck you guys are talking about. I just registered here. I didnt even know about this forum till today. To answer some questions. The mph for the 12.72 was 103 or 104 cant remember for sure. I have a pretty small cam so the stage 2 heads with all the flow potential isnt really realized unless I had a bigger cam to utilize it. But with the blower Im sure they help a lot. When it was natuarally aspirated I didnt build the combo for boost. That was an afterthought. About a 3 year afterthought. The truck ran real well like that with an 8.0 1/8th but would flatten out on top. It had a B&G flash in it and still does. I control the timing with an MSD boost timing master and the fuel with an aeromotive digital FMU. Still on the stock fuel system and lines and rails, but I do have a boosterpump run by the FMU. I could change the cam and start laying down some serious power but I doubt it will pass emissions with a larger cam and the stock lower end is a time bomb just waiting to go off. Every time I race it I hold my breath...lol

Heya Dana! I'm doing great and the roll pan is still holding up very well. It has several star checks from rocks hitting it during a burnout, but other than that, it still looks as good as the day you painted it.

Good to see you're still around and welcome to the forum!

Welcome aboard. Love your truck. a Near 10 second street truck is awesome, but a DD is even better. :)

Hey guys , Im glad to be here. Im not one for making long road trips. But Its not a 100 percent no that I wont go to the national meet. I have never been to Detroit so It might be cool to go there. But with no more overdrive I would definately tow the truck there. I know ,I know, it kinda takes the "street cred" out of it but it is fine to drive around, just screaming at like 3000 rpm for 10 hours wouldnt be so fun and neither would the gas bill...lol. Alan, glad to see your still around. We are like the "OG" R/T guys lol. Had my truck for 10 years in May. I cant believe it has been so long. At least the money Ive dumped into the pit doesnt sting so badly when you stretch it out over the years. Im thinking of trying to go to the Cecil meet. But again its like 3.5 to 4 hours from me and I know I will get booted for no cage and no harness, So I dont know if it is worth the trip . Probably get like 2 passes. The first pass a warning and the second the boot. But It would be fun. The last time I raced with a bunch of Dakotas was in 2000 at Atco. We had 13 trucks. I had the links to the pics but my ex took the computer with my info in it...oh well. The fastest time then was a 14.30. Dave, Im glad to hear you are almost ready with your new motor. It should be a screamer. I have a mental plan of what I want to do when this timebomb grenades but Im not sure it will be emissions compliant. So when the time comes we will cross that bridge. Talk to you guys later.

Don't worry Dana, I'll be trailering my street truck too. After getting stranded on my way home from the Nats last year, I'm not gonna take that chance again. I'll still drive it locally, but for a long haul like that she'll get towed.

Hope you can make it, looks like we're gonna have a really good showing, and some fast trucks too. Plus lots to see and do, Show&Shine at the Chrysler Museum, plus cruising on Woodward, it's gonna be great :rockwoot:
