Well, I may actually go to a local 1/8th mile here soon. I heard Zmax's (1/4 mile)track prep is nonexistant. Pretty disappointing...for an 180 million dollar track I hear.

Anyway, with the 5K shift point, I ran my best ET in my sig. How much et reduction from shifting @ 5.4-5.5K rpm? Before, in my datalogs, the rpm drop after each shift put me just above 3K and below peak torque. Not good.

Just wondering alound.

I'm going to try some new A/F mixtures too. A guy from AFR got on Speedtalk and shared some findings over hundreds of engines.

installed an APS valve body and it dropped my shifts to 5k when my b&g was set at 5600.
Last time out at the track, I made a pass, adjusted the TV cable which was off, next pass was right on 5.5k and gave me a .25 better ET in the qtr.
If I would have messed with it in sac, I should have had a 13.48 pass n/a. But I won the race, so oh well!
