Truck when in for its makeover today. New rear end (Strange 9") - new ladder bar setup - 35 spline Aftermarket axles - Wilwood Rear disk Brakes - Drive shaft - Roll Bar. Thousands of dollars and not one bit faster:mods: I guess it was time to do it.

Also doing a couple go fast mods - Intercooler - Front skinnys - Converter

That suspension setup will prolly make it hook better, therefore making it faster!

Hey Ken, were you still on a 9.25 rear with your other ladder bar setup?

It has very good street maners. Going to be different with the spool.

Yep, I was just going to do C-clip eliminators and an aftermarket axle on the 9.25.

After thinking about it, I went with the 9". Want do do everything once this time. Drive shaft--Brakes--Hardened Yoke--U Joints-- etc.

I have a complete 9.25 that I think Shane is going to buy for his project. Detroit locker, 4:56 gears, Ladder Bar brackets, Panhard bar, Coil over brackets all set up and ready to go. Around 2000 easy miles on everything :jester:

HA! I can see the future "for sale" ad : Mild mannered Dakota R/T, owned by a little old man only driven to the track on Sundays..... :woot::drive::jester:
