but hey if you want 17's for speed get some light weight wheels ...these stock wheels aren't that good for speed since there heavy as heck

The wheels are fine. You need taller tires. If you didn't have the Stampede side skirts 27" would suffice. Since you have the skirts(which pull the body lines lower) you need (IMO) no less the 27" up front/28" out back. If your looking to change gear ratio look into 4:10/4:56 gears.

these are my buddies wheels , we traded for like a week, but im gonna get some of these but not chrome, as said they do need taller tires, which is why i put them on to see how much of a tire i need!

MUCH better! IMO, those 22s were hideous....I think 22" is too big of a rim in the first place, but there are better looking choices. 22s are too tall for a RC truck anyway, looks out of proportion. The wheel gap isn't bad with the 17s, but you could always put a small drop on the truck to even it out a bit.

I think the R/T chromes look way, WAY better than the 22's IMO. As stated I would go with larger tires or a slight drop. :goodluck:

They're nice and all...but the tires need to be taller. The gapping is extreme.
