thats what I'm using.. I have to put a 1/4 - 3/8 inch spacer in the back to bring the rubber snub within a 1/2 inch of the leaf spring. I also removed the rear spring clamp on the leaf spring. I spray a 150 shot outta the hole. I have no wheel spin..of course I'm running a full 26" slick(which are for sale:D)

You could try levelling your truck out too. I lowered my rear 3/4".

These woulndt help spin at all wound they?? just wheel hop?:noob:I'm no suspension expert, it seems to work for me, but I'm on street tires. The wheel hop is from the axle winding up and snapping back I believe, thus unloading the tires. Stiffening up the front (clamping)of the springs and unclamping the rear helps direct movement downward, planting the tires, instead of forward, unloading the tires. These are my lamens terms, but I think that's right. Another thing to look for is weak or bad rear shocks, which would help dampen the hop from happening also. If anyone can explain better, please do so. All I know is it works for some pretty fast lightnings.

Yes, I chose to put mine Immediately behind the stock one. The stock one on the front has a lot of slack, esp with the rubber around it. Your trying to more firmly connect the front half of the leaves together to increase the rate forward of the axle to discourage axle wrap up.

I'm not sure how good an idea this would be with cal-tracs's. I think it actually makes use of the axle movement.

I don't have a pic, but it's flat bar stock with two holes in it for the u bolt to go through. Not shaped like a U though, take one side of a square off and there it is with two threaded ends that go through the flat bar and are held on by two nuts. Really simple and cheap.
