Anyone ever change the filter baskets in the top of an injector? Can you just thread a screw into them and pull them out? What's the right way to get them out?

I wouldn't mess with taking the injectors apart, I'd send 'em to someone like Marren Motorsports (www.injector.com) to have them serviced and flow tested.

Just thread a screw a few threads into the filter basket and pull it out, no problem. Install the new baskets with a small ball peen hammer, being careful to hit square and not round anything off.

Where did you get the new filter baskets?

I bought a rebuild kit from:
www.fuelinjectorconnection.com

Fuel Injector Connection, LLC
4966 Wade Valley Way
Cumming, GA 30040

Tel: 770-888-1662

It included the o-rings, plastic washer, pintle, and filter baskets. It was around $22.00.
They shipped quickly and were really helpful with instructions.
